I would experiment with a heeled shoe mate...always some going cheap on ebay. They are looking better though.

They look a lot better.

I think maybe long double paused squats with.slow tempo concentric may help.

Unrack and squat to the hole, 2 count then very slowly go up, forcing the knee into the band. At 3/4’s pause and hold for a 2 count and then go back up.

You will have to drop weight considerably(even just the bar to start) but It should help reinforce that queue to keep knees tracking out

Cheers will give these a try next week - bar's fine to start with, im accepting now that no heavy squats for a while until this is sorted. What set range should I be looking at and should I keep using the band?

No idea TBH, converse wouldn't I doubt, but something with a heel might be an interesting experiment.... may be work seeing if someone would let your test a pair of theirs out

TBH I don't know anyone who uses them as my gym is more commercial so mainly cardio and bicep brah's there. Will have a look on ebay for some - if not to expensive will look into

Yeh will see if some decent priced ones available. They do seem better but its not natural at the moment - really have to focus on knee's staying firm.

The adidas and reebok sites often have sales and promotions, and codes you can even use on to of the sales, so worth looking there. Keep checking hotukdeals as they pop up on there twice a month I reckon

Adidas have some good sales right now

When I was at school, people used to say that adidas stood for either:

After Dinner I Done A Sh1t

Or

All Day I Dream About Sex

Now on TRT, the latter appears to actually be true.

The second one is correct. Great song by Korn

Another full weekend of house prepping for carpets flooring being laid. Better part of 20 hours over the weekend moving all furniture from one room to another, removing all carpet/underlay/laminate if any etc, cutting up carpet and bagging, moving furniture back in and from another room and start process over again until house is one ready for carpeting/flooring starting today.

15 min mobility/stretch warmup

Getting used to warming up more now on squats/deads - previously only really warmed up/mobility for bench work.

Deadlift
20 x 10
60 x 8
100 x 6
132.5 x 5
132.5 x 5
132.5 x 5
132.5 x 5
132.5 x 5

Some of these felt like speed reps - really getting quick drive off floor. Had a slight issue 4th set 3rd rep where went slightly dizzy when locking out and stumbled a couple steps forward before putting eight down. Realised I hadn't breathed since started that set. Took couple breaths, re-set ad finished set. 5th set fine after. Was going to go for AMAP on 5th set but feeling pretty tired after 5th so left it there. Havent put a deadlift video up for a while so end of this week/next week will get one up. Same for bench.

Band assisted pullups - wide grip
10 x 4 sets

Absolutely shattered now and bi's burning.

Wanted to do more today felt finished after pullups so called it there. Got the main things down I wanted and only missed out on some bro bicep work so will include tomorrow if have time. BW 85.7kg so still slightly under what I was towards end of last year although im not trying to actively drop/gain at moment - just training/eating and letting BW adjust as it needs to.

Some rather distracting worldie doing all kinds of squats, lunges and hip thrusts in eye shot in beautifully tight, grey yoga trousers. Keep that image for the w*nk bank. Managed to block out for working sets and had a majorly productive session...

Bench
20 x 10
40 x 8
60 x 8
85 x 5
85 x 5
85 x 5
85 x 5
85 x 5

As managed 12 AMRAP's on 77.5 last week seemed like I would be spinning my wheels going for 80. 85 was a good weight, was pushing hard last couple sets and last 2 reps were real gritted teeth ground out reps. Got it done so happy here. Next week 87.5 for 5x5 see if I can keep rolling or if I drop off.

Floor Press
20 x 10
40 x 10
60 x 10
60 x 10
80 x 4
60 x 8

Kept movement slow and controlled. Clearly 80 was to big a jump so reduced to 60 and cracked out last set. Very pumped here and could feel chest, shoulders, tri's working hard.

Military press
20 x 10
20 x 10
20 x 10
20 x 10

Form work here - video below. Im having to re-learn this slightly as naturally I was just pushing up and out but arched back would come into it so will keep on with pushing as per vid. Comments/form check welcome
