Awesome mate well done. The 205 was cake but looked like you had a bit of a fight on your hands with the 210. That's good mental practice for hanging on and grinding out a heavy lift.

Epic lifting mate as said on ig... With regards the comp... Opener should imo be a 3 rep max... Then go up... Ensures you don't bomb out, gets your head in the game, breeds confidence and let's you know how the judges are 'judging'.

Any clue about roids.. Am just starting out am going to order 3 deca and 2 test 300. I am just starting out and have some dianabol 10mgs aswell any advice??

Cheers mate. 205 was easy rep, the 210 was a fighter. But that's prop more down to the 200/205 before taking energy. I think fresher I can get near or on 220 now. Very good practise tho as im not as experienced fighting/grinding out deads.

Yes cheers mate. Hmm ok im thinking 200 opener at the moment but may change depending on next couple months sessions. 5 plates is coming. yes mate replied on Friday - let me know if not showing.

Entry for comp now paid - fully committed and cant f*cking wait. Final office party of the year last Friday, yes booze was drunk but that's my last blowout but was reserved and tbh didn't go mad, was home by 11. I was more interested in the burgers and taco's they were serving.
 
Mrs done me a quality turn yest - she was out for a 30th came home with a full works 5 guys burger so smashed that back at 11. Jeez was good.

Nice lifts and nice one for entering the comp. How did you find out about it? Whenever I search for powerlifting comps near me they are never anywhere near me lol. It's something I am thinking about for next year though.

TBH just googled local powerlifting comps and lucky enough one was 20 min drive away. If I enjoy this - which I suspect I will I will look slightly further then just Essex, wifes up for that as well. Will treat it as day/weekend trips away once comp done. Obviously this is subject to me enjoying the meet but I think I will love it.

Had lovely 6 day break from training. Lots of quality time with family and nice r&r at home which I wanted more then anything. Nothing better then time with the little one - really miss out on time with her being at work.
 
Training tomorrow will be light full body session planned for tomorrow and sat. Rest Sunday and begin proper training for comp Monday onwards.
 
I've recruited the expert help of MT legend Ox to help me with a peaking programme for March. I am extremely focused now on this - may be my first comp but I aim to hit PB's and really push myself in the weeks leading up to and on the day itself.
 
Game on now - focused and ready. #TeamOx

Had a good catch up reading through.
 
Nice work on the bench, shame the PT grabbed the bar. I hate getting spotted on the bench for this reason, people always sabotage your lifts! The 210kg deadlift moved nice and smooth, its already been said but 5 plates is on the horizon. Good to hear you enjoyed Christmas and a rest is always welcomed. Here's to hitting it hard tommorow.

Ah mate that PT was suck a dick. Only couple people now ill ask for a spot or just roll off if get stuck now. Deadlift was tough work but fresher without the 200/205 theres more. Yes lovely break cheers mate

The lurgy is doing the rounds again - mrs is laid up in bed. My throats rough and nose full of snot. Feel fine tho luckily so hope that stays. Used local gym today, good gym just shame dont have access more reguarly. nothing special today just light work to kees wheels turning before Monday plan start.
