Job App Question

Bit of a strange one

Anyway I applied for a job about 2months ago and got an interview etc and in the end I didn't get it. However the person that interviewed me said that she was impressed and thought I was intelligent, eloquent and that she would like to give me a job but unfortunately for that particular role they needed someone with more experience. (essentially I have none)

Now the company has advertised again with another similar level job in the same department so it would be the same woman interviewing and hiring etc

Should I contact her directly and say that I would like to be considered for the role?
Just apply through the normal HR route?

Or Apply and then call?

Also do you think that she was most likely bull****ting and in fact they have no intention of ever considering me for a job ever?

I'm pretty desperate as i'll be unemployed again from wednesday on and would finally like to get some career relavent work!

Give her a call the worst she could say is 'Sorry we have to fair so youll have to go through the application process again', but she might say 'the jobs yours'. Go for it

Email or phone her. Email may be better because you can think through what you want to say, depends how well you come across on the phone though.

Was this at a law firm?

Snap up any legal work at the mo, very thin on the ground.

If not, get applying for work experience, not only vac schemes, but also drop a cv and cover letter into your local solicitors, for unpaid work ex.

What i've done is applied through the normal route but I'm going to call the lady up dirrectly possibly 2morrow or the next day under the pretence of seeing if she recieved the app

and hopefully this will stimulate a bit of favourable conversation
