Feel sorry for him. Look at how he buried his face into Avram's shoulder. Ronaldo is right: it is a lottery. I say it's more Drog's fault than Terry's.

Well he was in floods of tears and since he's so rich the money means nothing. Money or no money it was sad to see.

Well i take it your a chelsea fan.

How many others slipped while taking a penalty? er None.
The pitch was fine, you were unlucky lose gracifully and don't blame the pitch.

Drogba was an idiot, and things may have been different.

Your clearly a Man U fan lol

He slipped..end of, he couldnt have done that on his own.

Wheres all the Ronaldo genuine "fcuk up" jokes!?, or does he get away with it cause they won in the end.

I hope I don't sound nerdy or weird here but I believe that it's all about Physics. The pitch is wet, slippery turf, makes it harder for both keeper and player. But he took far too big a run up, and pelted it with too much venom and by doing that put too much pressure on the standing leg and slipped. The force exerted was too great to be balanced by friction and thus he slips, it's simple Physics. Beckham has slipped before and also made the ball jump off the turf before strike impact, because he does the same thing and puts way too much pressure on the standing leg.

As for Ronaldo, his penalty was a joke, and adds to his collection of missed penalties and stupid run-ups. He's lucky it won't be remembered for costing them the CL. And same with Anelka, his depressing slumping body language and obvious choice for the middle left of the goal was a joke. He looked like he wanted to miss!

What was Ronaldo playing at with his penalty?
I didn't think you were allowed to run and stop as it's like a dummy and you can not dumy a penalty.

Certainly don`t think the pitch was fine, United players especially were slipping all over.

Anyway Terry`s a United fan so he was probably celebrating with them later on lol.

I didnt think you were allowed to do that either.
Also, IIRC, he had one disallowed a few weeks ago for doing exactly the same thing!

Personally I think this testicle tenderness is due to my recent return to AM cardio. I do it naked on a recumbent bike and my gonads tend to flop about.
