Joint Pain

Hi guys,

Wondering if any of you suffer from joint pain when lifting heavy. I'm one to lift heavy every session, and I also suffer from arthritis. I do take glucosamine every day, however as of late, on back day, starting off with 50 reps of wide armed chins, like this morning, I was getting incredible joint pain in the wrists, elbows and shoulders.

Now I have some cr@ppy prescription only painkillers, but does anyone suffer really bad joint pain that limits them, and know what works well whether OTC or in particular POM? I'm not talking about Nubain...don't want to even go there, but any other advice would be welcome . It was so bad this morning I nearly threw up due to the pain .

Thanks,

mcl

Cheers mate, its just really difficult with being so used to working heavy every weekday morning, and feeling after my first set like I'm going to hurl with the pain. Its alright after the first rep - don't feel the pain during the set, its just that first rep is horrible and 5seconds after I finish the set the pain kicks in big style, not all the time, but some days like today - gets me down . Not sure what a physio can do with regards to joint pain, but might check it out.

Nah mate, not running anything...yet lol. Haven't started on the juice as of yet! I might have to try a week or two of light then.

    Cheers,
