- Journey to join Avengers -

- Hello World (Personal presentation) -

16 07 18

- First o all
The Journey to join Avengers, is my journal where I show/Speak how is going my Trainings routine focused to improve performance in first place, but of course that all improvement in aesthetics is very welcome.

     About me:
Brazilian boy with latin first name and Japanese last name, graduated in Computer Science, but in life I already have study other graduation like Game Design (Desistence in a half of the graduation by time and money problems) and nowadays Im iniciating graduation in Phisycal Education.
Somewhat confusing... well to sum up better:
        - 27 yo
        - Name: Thiago Higashi
        - Nickname: JapaThoy
        - Birthplace: São Paulo, Brasil
        - Male
        - Fitness lover or Gym rat
        - Geek
        - "Otaku"
        - Gamer
        - Nerd
        - Handsome
        - Genius
        ...

     Goals:
As previously mentioned, focusing mainly in perfomance, aesthetics and for a while lose some weight, until find an amount of pound that I can run and do things with more lightness.
Now Im 82kg (180 lbs), when I was 21yo I was 71~74kg (156~163lbs), maybe return to 74kg will work fine...maybe, because I prefer to conclude seeing in practice, practice to me is always better than theory (this doens't mean that I close my eyes to theory, in real I like very much the theory too).
Why? Years ago (7~10 years) I was like Daniel San, lean, master in kick some ass and good at winning girl's hearts.....
Well, now talking serious, at 17-21yo I dedicate my free time to practice boxing and after stopping boxing, I spent a long time far from any type of phisycal activity, returned to activity, but only for fitness (I only did lifting weigth), stopped more one time... returning now, 5-6 years without a real cardio, wanting to be active again.
Maybe I can't be like Daniel San again, or maybe it's time to be like Miyagi....

- Training
     Routine:
5x in a week - Boxing at night (around 60-90 minutes)
5-6x in a week - Lifting weigth at morning (around 60 minutes)

- Diet
     Routine:
        Cheat meals ate weekends.
In the middle of the week I eat clean
For now my diet still not adjusted as I would like (more forward I will do that and post here)

- Outcome
For today, that's is all folks, hope we can learn from each other, feel free to comment in my journal.
        Hugs.

Welcome mate. I think English is not your first language? Respect to you for learning a second language it is very hard.

You will learn a lot on here if you stick with it. Have you got a good lifting routine sorted? 5-6 times per week sounds like a lot.

    Ps- Avengers rock!

    - I'm Back -

    08 08 18

    - Previously:
Previously in Journey to join Avengers (it's seeming like TV Series... lol), I, Thiago, was trying to find a routine that will work fine to me, and sure, it's important to remeber that my goals is summarized in improve performance (in boxing) and in second instance the aesthetics.
What do I have in my side to achieve this goals?
Boxing training, running training and lift weight training.
Maybe this brief of all is null (but anyway I like to speak and communicate with others) ....

    - Training
         Overview:
Boxing, I almost always do 5 times in a week (Sometimes, gasoline limits me to go less than 5 times, gasoline here and gold have nearly same values ... just kidding) - Always in the end of the day (19:00 pm)
Weight Lifting, I changed to 3 times (full body) on a week, maybe more forward I will try 4 times (Upper torso & Lower torso), the ideia is to be a strength training (But sometimes I change the training form in the middle of the way, in to hipertrofy or I add plyometrics). Not always but depending on my state in weekend I train too (fourth training, looking at Hypertrofy and plyometrics, but not is always that I do this training on the weekend) - Always in the morning.
Running trainings, in weight lift off days, usually 2~3 times a week - Always in the morning.

         Weight Lift Routine:
         Full body training:
4 sets 4-6 reps - Leg extension + Lying leg curls + Seated calf raises (8-10 reps) - Without rest between sets
4 sets 4-6 reps - Seated barbell military press + Hip abductor + Lateral Raises + Hip Aductor
4~6 sets 4-6 reps - Incline bench press + V bar pulldown + Decline cruch (10-15 reps - this is the rest for chest and latissimus dorsi)
4 sets 4-6 reps - Biceps curls + Triceps pushdown with rope - with rest (usually untill you feel you can do again) **often I see that people don't recommend train biceps and triceps for strengh or explosion (power), but I guess there is no problem in train them
**Amount of sets can be changed based on what I'm feeling in the progress of the training.

         Running Routine:
         Normal running:
If my state is not the best, I just run 10 km and end of training.

         Sprint running:
Only happen if I'm good (feeling full of energy ... saying that im feeling like an cell phone).
60 minutes, every 5min 45s I do a 15s sprint (in maximum power, after all battery is charged ... ), totaling 10 sprint at all in the end of the roadwork.

    - Diet
         Routine:
            Foods I'm using on dieting:
            Chiken
            Lean meats.
            Milk
            Yogurt
            Oatmeal
            Muesli
Brown rice (not necessarily the brown, but the brown have more dietary fiber)
            Bean
            Manioc
            Whole grain bread
Grape juice (Or orange Juice, here we just want the polyphenols)
            Olive oil
            Peanut
            Raisin
            Cheese
Cinnamon powder (to improve insulin sensitivity)
**On cheat meal I eat all what I can throw in my belly (sometimes 22 slices of pizza)
Soon I will explain with more details my diet, but for now that's all.

    - Outcome
stinking_dylan, thanks for the words bro.
Brett, yes I will sticking with it, I'm spending so much time practicing with Replika (An AI app implemented to talk with you), Yes avengers rock (but don't tell me that your favorite super hero is Spider man... it's him?). I decreased trainings to 3 (sometimes 4) times on a week.
Altough I've started a little disorganized in my routine, I have noticed improvements, body volume is decreasing (muscle and fat going to space) and speed and power it is rising.
Well, that's all, I will be back.

    I like tony stark too!

Thor’s hammer it’s true name is actually called ‘mjollnir’ and they even say it in one of the movies I think.

Can’t wait for part 2 of infinity war.
