Just how dangerous........

Hi guys, maybe i have been ignorant to all the good advice floating around here on the forums and i am sorry if this a typical "newbie" question but if you were going to take a d-bol and testosterone (enanthate or cypionate) cycle and used proper pct (nolva) and gave your body the adequate time to recover between cycles, just how dangerous is this to the body?

Would i expect to see gyno and hairloss or can these be avoided?

Thanks, Sean

Depends who you choose to listen to there mate.

Some well respected docs would tell you that you are killing yourself. Others would point to the fact that there are no studies at all which demonstrate that moderate AAS use in adult males show harmful effects.

    Everyone is watching Arnie though

IMHO, and from the evidence I've gathered, it is harmful, but not much more so than other harmful activities like drinking, smoking, snorting etc. Certainly don't mix your vices, or you're asking for trouble.

That's one think i've thought, i've used E and coke a fair bit in my time, i don't think steroids will be any more toxic than those.

    if anyone knows please tell.

And how exactly did you quantify the long term health effects of that?

Steroids are extremely powerful compounds that are most certainly dangerous if used incorrectly.

If you are going to train for 6 or so years natty, to learn all about diet, exercise and bodybuilding, then spend 6 months learning all about AAS, then take the time to find a top quality and trusted source, with full PCT, then go and pay for your baseline medical tests and blood work, and use moderate, well designed stacks, then you'll probably be fine.

If you're looking for an easy route muscle-in-a-bottle type solution, and will munch down whatever junk comes your way then they could possibly kill you.

I think you are over exaggerating-

Kill you? Find me one example where steroids were directly implicated in killing someone-

I'll dig some out and post. There were a couple over on one of the US forums who died recently, very high oral doses.

Thats a bit of an exageration isn't really ? there's quite a few lads on here (myself on one occasion) who have taken gear in combination with poor diet and reccy drugs who are still around to tell the tale. If you mean that it will damage your health then I agree but kill ...no

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

Hi Pagen. Listen mate, I use juice - I'm not anti-roids at all.

    BUT...

your story is anecdotal. I sometimes race my fireblade around racetracks at speeds of 155+ mph. I've fallen off at that speed, and am "still around to tell the tale", but two of my mate's aren't. There's a definite correlation between that and death, regardless of one person's experience.

If you want to read about steroid deaths, start with Dan Duchaine. Then look for Scott Klein. I had a thread conversation about liver tumour related deaths linked with AAS (albeit very high doses) just last week with the Doctor.

Thanks for the info guys, will definately be keeping a good clean diet and using pct. I would like to think that if i start on a lighter cycle for beginners and not get too greedy for gains and jump straight onto the heavy stuff i will be fine. As AKmuscle49 says everything in moderation :) lol.

Any particular cycles anyone would think to be suitable for a "newbie"?

    Thanks, Sean

Fair do's mate but it didn't sound like you were talking about extreme abuse in your original post. Perhaps 'could' kill you would be more acurate than 'probably'
