Keto Gurus - Fats?

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask the keto gurus out there. I have been following the diet set out below (a take on Dave Palumbo's Keto diet) I am just over a week in and am feeling ok. Weights at gym not affected, stamina is a bit, struggling on the later sets but believe that is to be expected with such low carbs..

Anyway question is am i getting enough fats? I didn't wanna get to anal about the numbers but this morning thought i would put the below together just to check and i don't think i am. Any suggestions as to adding fats? I am already on the boundary of carbs but most of this is from the broccoli/other fiberous veg. I would like to stick to this for at least 4 weeks now ive started, i realise some don't advocate this diet especially unassisted. I plan to have my first carb up after 2 weeks and then one day weekly. I then plan to ween myself back onto carbs by first introducing them pre/post workout.

Any comments on any of the above gratefully received.

P.S I am NOT assisted

DAILY TOTALS

Food                        Cals            Carbs      Fat            Protein
Eggs                         750            0            56            62.5
Peanut Butter               182          4.6          14.8          7.4
Whey Shake               400           7.2          3              90
Chicken                     320            8            0              68
Brocolli                      70            14            0              4
EVOO                       246            0            27.42          0
Almonds                   183.6          2            16.74          6.2
Totals                      2151           35.8         117            238.1

I do vary the intake daily, mainly swapping the real food (the 2 chicken meals, to turkey/steak/salmon etc which does sometime increase fats, also have brazil nuts/cashews but carbs are higher so try not to have to many when switching from almonds

Supps = taking multi vit, psyllium husks if req,  and omega 369, i might change these to Omega 3 fish oils?

Stats pre diet (last week were)
Weight = 15 Stone (95 Kilos) Will weight myself at the gym today and add this later.
Height = 6ft 1'
Bodyfat = Not sure estimate around 15%
Objective mainly to remove fat from stomach area, or should i say beer belly..

Many Thanks

Looks ok mate, altho cals are quite low for someone your size. How much cardio are you doing? Unless this is pretty short term you may need to increase fats to avoid muscle loss and prevent metabolism from slowing right down. Especially with you being unassistaed refeeds can only do so much.

All4n, thanks for the response, I have been doing around 30-45 mins, 5 days a week, Steady State Cardio keeping heart rate below 120 on a slow cycle ride, 1 day a week this is at the gym, rowing/stairmaster/crosstrainer again less than 120bpm just to mix it up a little

This has been on an empty stomach, just wake up have some water and go.

    Cheers
