Kneeling squats...

Saw someone doing these down the gym today... damn they look painful. Anyone tried them?? (Though this the most suitable forum to ask)

    damn...it seems when the weight would get heavy it would be horendus on your knees.

    I don't think my mate intends on doing them that often if ever again. They hit the hip flexors pretty hard and you can go very heavy but he didn't see how they could be overly beneficial. If he wants heavy he'll do walk outs and his hips are not weak.
