LACK OF ENERGY / TIREDNESS.

hi peeps
im after some advise, been on a clean eating diet now for 5 weeks, having roughly about 1300 - 1500 calories per day, also carb cycling, high days about 130g, med - 100g, low 60g per day,diet consists of oats, protein shakes, fruit, chicken, tuna, veg and salads with brown rice or sweet potato's.
 
i do fasted cardio in the morning for 40 mins monday - friday, then return to the gym later in the afternoon to do a weight session.
monday - chest / back
tuesdays -  legs
wednesday -  abbs
thursday - biceps / triceps
friday - shoulders
 
at the end of most days im so tired, am i doing too much or should i be eating more food? is this a normal feeling that ppl have when they train all week?
im currently trying to mainatain my weight of 8 st whilst tone up at the same time,my height is 5ft 3inches.
 
any suggestions greatly appreciated

    Hi Kerry,
    often those who do carb cycle feel tired, so I'd probably just put it down to that... :-)
     
    What I would say though, is depending upon your BF%, you're probably consuming too low calories to maintain your weight, with your current activity levels - maybe this is why you're feeling tired??
     
    Maybe try upping your cals slightly to see if you can eat a bit more and still maintain...

    i really do struggle on my low carb days so you maybe right, i will try upping the calories a little more and see how i get on, being told to eat more calories is certainly not a problem for me! haha!

    You are not eating enough to cope with your levels of activity, also your training needs to be sorted out lovely.....simples :)

    hi lou, thanks for yuor reply,
    roughly how many calories would you suggest i consume, do you think its best to keep to the same carb value each day or if cycling them is any better?
    i have changed my training this week but any suggestions greatly appreciated!
    gets boring feeling tired all the time! haha xx
