Lagging body parts

Do lagging body parts/or lack of results get you down and make you think 'why do i bother even training'?

Not to that extent, but they do bug me. My arms are piss-poor but I live with it and carry on training and hope they will catch up in the long run

    Unaffiliated.

Yes, sometimes lack of results get me down, but it doesn't make me think why even bother. If anything it makes me want to keep cracking on until i get the results i want.

I think lagging bodyparts definately can become a psychological battle , as well as a physical one

My mate has poor calves , To his credit , he squats regularly and puts 100% effort almost every leg workout - his head usually goes bright purple , and you can tell he puts 100% effort into his lifts , no matter what bodypart EXCEPT calves - TBH most of his Calf workouts are half assed , but he can't see it , He argues that he always trains them , and he never skips a set or a rep , but the fact is , from a watchers point of view , his is not putting in 100% like he does on every other exercise ,
He denies it , but to me it is as clear as day !

I have noticed generally , that people love to train their best bodyparts , and loathe training their worst ! - silly really , logically you;d think it's be the other way around (ego issues aside ) ?

No.if it is lagging , then it needs sorted. change in the routine me thinks would be the answer. until i find something that works. lack of results overall would make me reconsider all my variables until they were perfect, whether that be diet, rest training etc

I always make an effort to train 110% when doing lagging parts for that reason. Although there's no parts of training I dread - leg days are brutal, but they're good brutal.

All I need is a big gun and a coupe that's crazy quick...

ditto really mate, been trying to shed the fat for an eternity everything was goin well then seemed to hit a brick wall and no matter what i tried to get it going again doesn't seem to be working. Decided that instead of beating myself up about it and getting annoyed that i'll just keep plugging away and see where i get to in a few months.

    Yes, sometimes

and make you think 'why do i bother even training'?

Nah. Things would be even worse if we didn't train, right?
