Leading the pack (Jax's Journal)

Decided to add a journal to this site to help me track my progress on what I am doing. Will cut to the chase just in case anyone decides to knock me or whatever I don't mind fully prepared to get some complaints regarding what I do and how I am going about it.

Note: The following post may be long winded.

Target - Weight loss, finding my old self.
Age - 33
(Note:Not going to post other stats but I will add them over time with pictures of progress)

Past - Dabbled in a few things like ECA, T3, Clen, Anavar when cutting before but never done anything like the below before so it doesn't matter how much I read and take in every day I will always be learning more and I will never ever be able to justify my reasons for doing this so I won't bother trying.

Suffered depression which I firmly believe was down to my excessive use of Eph however I can't rule out other things like losing my job, landlords deciding to sell the house we was renting while I had no job or income and missus was pregnant no idea how I never popped during all that crap but when it hit me it was mad but over that now and what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger I suppose.

Diet - I have choose to do the below. Just currently over 6 weeks on this. Started 24th April

Dave Palumbo Keto

250lb+ male
Meal #1: 6 whole (Omega-3) eggs.
Meal #2: 8oz chicken with ½ cup raw almonds.
Meal #3: 50g whey protein with 2 tablespoons all natural peanut butter.
Meal #4: 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil.
Meal #5: same as meal #3.
Meal #6: 6 whole (Omega-3) eggs.

Supps -
Omega 3,6,9 1200mg Tab - 3 Per day
Primrose Oil tabs 1000mg - 3 Per day
Hawthorn Berry  565MG - 2 tabs per day
CLA - 3  per day
Multi Vitality Pro - 1 Per day
Liv52

Pre - Training - 30-45 Mins before AM cardio -
30mg Ephedrine
Thermopro (TPW) - 2 x Tabs (300mg Caffeine)

My whey Protein is from The Protein Works, I have the following flavours in 1KG bags so I don't get bored.

Rhubarb and Custard  (Lush but sickly)
Banana Smooth (Very smooth and tasty)
Choc/Mint (Needs more mint)
Choc/Cherry (I could try and live on this stuff it's amazing in whey 80 and 90)
Cherry Bakewell (Just as good as the Choc/Cherry)
Jaffa Cake (Weird after taste unless it's me being in Keto lol, not something I could have more than once a day though)

Training -
I added cardio into the program on the 17th May -  7 days a week - 40-50 Mins per day AM and before food. On the odd occasion I've added in an extra 30 mins cardio at night when I've just felt bored. I felt adding this in later would help me adjust to the DP diet better.

Not sure if I can count this as cardio but I take my big Neo for a walk eod, Got two big massive parks near me which he loves dragging me around. Here he is hope pic is not too big lol

Going to join a gym near me this week and I expect to start using weights on sometime before Wed 12th May.

Added stuff to aid me.

Start date - May 30th

T3 - 50mg Daily (Split dose AM/PM)
Anavar 40mg Daily (Split dose 20mg AM/PM)

Start date - 7th May - Primoteston Depot (Iranian Aburaihan) (Enanthate) - Weekly for 16-20 weeks, Will evaluate after week 11.

I have on the side - if needed early.

Nova/Clomid/Aromasin

Will keep an eye for any Gyno and add the above in if needed, Was actually thinking of just running 12.5mg of Aromasin daily anyway as precaution better to be safe than sorry.

PCT will start 2 weeks after last injection, Anavar will be carried on after last injection up until PCT time.
T3 will be cut to 25 mg daily for 2 weeks then I expect to come off it and evaluate everything I have done good or bad, Every day is a learning curve this is not something I am taking for granted.

Another interesting thing I have been reading up on is leangains and people who do fasting. The benefits seem to be very good and infact I might try doing the DP diet in a set time window and fast for 16 hours will just depend on how I feel. Being bit of a guinea pig here.

It's a mental challenge but something I know I can do.

Thanks for reading if you bothered, All feedback, advice, motivation all welcome

Jax

Good luck with this! couple of questions , how long before carb days and can you add in extra veg like broccoli or spinach in to a few meals .

Cheers for reviewing the TPW flavours was thinking of Jaffa cake think I'll just order choc silk instead now

It's never to late to start but always too soon to quit

    Thanks

Bit varied in the DP thread for cheat meals/Carbs some say 14 days after start and I seen another say 1 month after, Then have one every 7 days. I did one on 14 days after start and next day I felt like utter crap so I've not really had a proper cheat since not sure I want to feel like crap again. Supposed to be a cheat meal every 7 days after the 14th day was the way I've read it.

It's strict mate can't really be adding anything to it, I will admit it's easier than I expected. 3 days in I had lost all cravings and was hardly hungry and most days now I do find on the odd occasion I struggle to eat.

I've read that the choc/silk is not that great. If you have not tried Choc/Cherry it's by far best one to get with Banana smooth being the one I find is not too sweet. They really are life savers on this.

Well I had a choice to make 40 mins ago. Xbox or Cardio and I'm happy to say Cardio won. So 2 sessions of cardio today low intensity of course due to the nature of the Keto diet.

6 Weeks ago I would have choose Xbox all day long so it's nice to know I've broken many habits I've had over the last few years and broken these in just 6 weeks so well chuffed. Shaping up to be a better person all round

Woke up at 2am with what I can only describe as an anxiety attack. Heart was beating mad and I felt weird and then spent the best part of the night tossing and turning. Feel like utter crap today and not done my AM cardio  get the feeling my body wants a rest as I've not stopped but I'm determined to get some cardio in once kids have gone bed lol.

Went up town and while walking around I got mad shin pains lol Papa did warn me hahaha.  But some Nytol for tonight, gonna hit the sack early and hopefully get a decent nights sleep.

In other good news I found out my local council gym near by gives me a decent rate for living in the area so I have to pay a one off fee of £25 and then £18 per month to use everything which includes Olympic pool and some decent weights machines amongst other stuff so happy days.

Well I'm glad yesterday is over with I felt like dog crap all day and was moody due to next to no sleep and I missed my cardio, I tell myself I needed a day off anyway but the worst thing was I had real bad cravings for junk/easy to grab food but pleased to say I did not go through with what my head was thinking phew could have been a nightmare.

Went bed early last night and took some nytol and oh my god I feel great today, Banged out my 50 mins am cardio much to the displeasure of my legs hahaha fk em no excuses they need to work.

Off to go see a puppy now a nice Siberian Husky who might become my running partner

Banged out some more cardio today for 50 mins average heart rate was 111 not sure if that's good or bad while in keto.

Really do need to find some more songs I enjoy while doing it, Getting excited to hear the same song twice is getting annoying.

Hi mate few similaritys between you and me it seems.

33 also, love all mastiffs. Want a neo or old English.

Suffer from huge anxiety, take meds. I'm on trt from docs so prescribed test basically.

Might occasionally top up by accident with the odd amp of Iranian.:-)

And have been on a keto diet. I'm currently 220 pounds and hoping to slowly recomp using maintenance cals.

Will definitely be stopping by as you have been really helpful on all my issues.

Hope not to lower the tone to much lol

    Good luck with this Jax!

I am in something similar and I know what you mean with the protein shakes!!
I have one after I train that's it- so I look forward to training lol. It's all you want on our diet!
Not sure I could do it if I didn't have the shake 4/5 times a week to look forward to.

Was eating fruit in my diet until relatively recently and I struggled enough with fruit :/
We can do it though :D and good on you for starting your journal to help keep a track if your progress! I have found mine most useful :) x

Note to self - A strong mind, positive thinking and dedication is the recipe to success in all areas..

I think we can relate to one another in some things though I know for a fact you are gonna cruise by your recent blip in life cause failure is not an option and you are not allowed to fail so don't let me down

Neo's are lovely dogs, Loving, protecting and MASSIVE. Defo be your best friend and no one will want to break in ya house when they know you have a big lump guarding. Just placed a deposit on a Siberian Husky so Rocky will be getting a friend in 4 weeks time

I had one anxiety attack during sleeping last week, Been struggling to sleep since then but think it's the Test causing it and fk me I sweat a lot at night, Missus won't lay next to me say's I'm a furnace lol.

Loving Keto but.... my breathe is like a rat as crawled in my gob, took a crap and then died it just won't go.

Will help you whenever you need it pal, Just ask and I'll be there. Bottling it all up will not help anyone, Speaking about it will and Imo you have done that already even if it may have been out of your comfort zone to do so. Us men never like to show emotions that make us look weak, we have to act tough all the time so they say. I'm gonna be blubbling like a girl later watching the new Superman later lol.

    Right....

Today was induction day at the GYM. I can't complain at £18 per month overall for the gym it has some free weights but looks like I will have some issues getting in their due to the youths that seem to occupy them so on that front I'm going to make some room in my house somehow and get some free weights and kettlebells will be tough finding room and getting 3 kids to not colour them in .

After the induction I got free roam on the machines and what a shock I got, Not as strong as I thought I was and I think my muscles are now not happy with me. Did sets to failure then moved onto next machine. My fave machine is defo the leg press feel like superman on that thing. Worked out for 40 mins then came home and did 40 mins cardio (Could have used their machines for cardio but like my one better lol)

Maybe gonna have to work out a routine but lifting to failure is something I've read on the leangains website so kinda unsure on how to start out though I reckon it's gonna take 2 weeks for me to get back into it. Would love to know just what the fk I have been doing these last few years, very pissed off with myself in that respect.

So now I'm aching but in a good way, can't wait for this test to kick in though lol. Anavar pumps are mad. Looking forward to Wed now.

Cheat tonight so off to Subway then off to watch the new Superman, Can't freaking wait. I will be like a big kid again
