Leg cramps - ouch!

I have had these off and on for several years now but had a really MASSIVE attack of this just below my left calf last Sat nite/Sun morning. Now 2 days later I still cannot walk right and it's agony.

Any ideas folks on prevention and/or cure? I tried looking it up on the website but all I get is a pop group called "The Cramps"!!

Have been told tonic water helps as it contains quinine but tastes horrible! Another is to eat bananas as they contain potassium. I'm gonna try mixing up some chopped bananas drowned in tonic water in the mixer and see what happens!

Any other ideas?

Cheers

    Hi MD!

If the problem persists and if it is agony, go and have it checked out. I suffered badly from muscle cramps last year and found relief in using slow-release potassium. I also tried the bananas... and found them yummy.
