Less Weight For More Reps - How Much?

I've recently gone from 8 to 12 rep sets and found that I've gone from:

42kg DBs x 8 incline bench (arms to parallel)

to

32kg DBs x 12 incline bench (greater than parallel)

So im doing 4 more reps at better form, 10kg sounds like a big sacrifice to me? Is this normal?

Try it for a while and see how it goes. You can always change back.
