Living in another country but paid by UK company

Anyone had any experience of this.

Since moving to Ireland one of my old customers has offered me a job, originally it was to be to work for their Irish sites, but now it is mainly UK work done remotely as well as supporting Irish sites, but I will be paid in Sterling from the UK company.
Should I just get a Uk overseas bank account such as LLoyds do, and have them convert my pay to Euros?
