Thats a strange old thing to say, considering all the crime rates are about a billion percent higher than in the UK.

Seriously though, it happens, but not as much as you would think. In very urban areas, cities, schools...etc your post box is locked.
When packages are delivered, they are usually handed off to you at your door, or left in an inconspicous location so as not to draw attention, or left at the post office for you to pick up.

Oh and we don't ALL have guns, just most of us

If I had to collect my newspaper from the front lawn in the morning I'd still think Ted Heath was Prime Minister.

Its a federal crime to fcuk with someone elses mail in the States... you steal a mail truck and can be prosecuted for every letter on it. Now that would be a bummer.

I would be interested in seeing what the violent crime rates are between us. I'm thinking you guys bottle and stab each other more then we shoot ourselves.

    Talking of which...

Has anyone seen that Trauma Africa program; it's like our trauma program except it's from Johannesburg.

So instead of people who just fallen off a ladder in their garden or tripped on the steps outside the library, it's like people being murdered every night, unbelievable.
