Long distance sscv or sprinting

Which is better for building stamina & losing fat?? Thanks in advance :)

    Overall probably not much in it, sprinting just does it in a fraction of the time.

    Do whichever one you enjoy, if one burns more calories and builds more stamina per session, its no good if you hate doing it and stop within a month. Think of what will you can keep up over the long term.

    Depends on your goals! If you want to build stamina you will generally have to incorporate some degree of SSCV, although some may argue this can be achieved with sprint intervals. I prefer sprint intervals for developing speed / power and I'll incorporate more SSCV if I'm training for an endurance event.

    stamina is relative to what you want. Rugby or football requires you to have stamina to perform repeated high intensity bursts for the duration of the game. Marathon running on the other hand requires you to have stamina to perform at a steady rate for a prolonged period. In terms of fat loss I'd go for sprints unless you are doing latter stages of contest prep when, in my opinion, you'll be hard pushed to find the energy to achieve the intensity needed
