Lower back injury

Has anyone else ever injured their back when doing deadlifts? I did mine yesterday, it was my fault because I went to the gym with my lower back being a bit stiff. During my routine my back felt like it was set in concrete and it felt fairly painfull, I was doing partial deads (I know a waste of time) with 200k.

It seems that I have got a slight vertibrae crush injury.

Does anyone know how long these injuries stay around for? I think when I go back and train back I will start light and do 10-12 reps.

By the way I am now of work for a couple of days but out of the gym [xx(]

go talk to an active (one that trains himself) osteopath if thaey have not experienced training first hand they will prob tell you to give it total rest which will prob just keep it stiffer try a hot bath, sauna or turkish steam room
