    45 gram serving:

    146 cals
    23 grams of protein
    11 grams of carbs
    2.7 grams of fat

As a whey protein it wouldn't be my choice - too many carbs and not enough protein per serving for my liking. If you like it then fair do's. There are better wheys to choose from imo.

BICOS, when you say 'on whey' do you mean Optimum Nutrition Whey? and is this the one you're talking about?

The Optimum Nutrition Whey may not taste as good but there's a lot more protein per 100g that the Matrix Whey, but it's £35-£38 for a 5kg tub of Matrix Whey and £35-44 for 5lbs of ON Whey.

a 45g serving of ON Whey gives 36 grams of protein whereas the matrix gives 23 grams.

Doubling the serving gives you 22 grams of carbs - if you doubled the serving of ON whey there's just 6 grams of carbs. Can you tell I'm a right fussy buggar? lol

I've recently switched to Panthera Primaltein Whey - the strawberry banana flavour (that's one flavour by the way) is pretty nice but isn't very thick, the caramel almond flavour isn't bad but not as nice as the strawberry banana flavour. You can pick up two 2.25kg tubs for £38 on the muscle finesse website - that's if you buy on 10% Tuesdays, but this coming Tuesday is the last one.

Reflex Whey Deluxe is another good one and the Body building Warehouse own brand whey seems to get getting good reviews from muscletalk members. Check out Myprotein's range too.
