MP FlavDrops

I brought a bottle of chocolate FlavDrops from My protein the other day.  I just wanted to know everyones opinion on these, as I seriously can barely taste it at all when mixed with unflavoured whey (and what I can just about taste, isn't chocolate).  I have even tried to use more than the recommended amount.  Have I got a duff bottle, or it is like this for everyone?

Also it's not my taste buds lol, i've just used a two year old bottle of Bulk Powders Liquiflav and it tastes lush!

OK thanks, I really can't work this out and am a bit gutted I spent £8.  Would have rather brought a nice piece of salmon or steak.  Maybe chocolate isn't one of the best flavours to go for.

about 7 or 8 gives it a nice flavour, more makes for a milkshake type taste. I usually have it plain but got a free sample a couple of months back.

Ah OK, well I've worked my way up to 15 and can still barley taste a difference.  Maybe I should have gone for stawberry.

I've got raspberry, banana and toffee flavor. Raspberry and toffee I need ~20 drops to get a good taste, banana ~10 drops. Makes a nice change to plain whey, but don't know if I'll purchase again. Probably lol

are these cost effective as opposed to just buying flavoured whey?

As Osagi said, taste varies and can require a lot of drops to get a decent flavour, for that purpose I don't think they would be cost effective.  But it's good to be able to decide your own flavour!

I usually find the lighter flavours work best like vanilla and banana.
Strawberry and Raspberry are ok but you need double the dose.
Chocolate is usually the worst I find in these type of products.

Well I can confirm that chocolate isn't very good

I've tried 20 drops now with minimal amounts of water, it's starting to get sweet, but no Chocolate taste at all.  Complete waste of money.

I got chocolate also, their flavoured chocolate powder's very good.
All the Choc flav drops are good for is making something already flavoured chocolate taste sweeter.

Yes Chocolate Impact blend is very nice, it's the one I always buy.  But then I noticed that they have added a message saying chocolate flavouring means there is 8% less protein content in their blends!  This time I went for isolate so got unflavoured and these 'flav'drops.

They've had that 8% message for a good while now.
In their flavouring systems they have MP Chocolate Smooth flavouring powder, it's really good!
