MT camping meet (thread renamed)

Have found a dog-friendly campsite in the middle of a forest.
Have found a tent.
And instant barbeques.
And bricks to put the barbeques on as burning the grass is not allowed.
Will buy food and bring changes of clothes, dog food, a lead, his bowls and some poo bags.

What else do I conceivably need that's not on the list? Ta.

    Also, a car.

To go somewhere else when it pisses down.

Nah, I want the total experience.

    Rain inside the seams.
    Damp groundsheet.
Forked lightning images on display through the canvas.
Dog poo everywhere inside the tent at 6 in the morning....

    No B&B for us.

Righty, Wrongy and Fatbert are in it for the experience.

i was going to say beer but since thats already been said:

    High power torch
Matches (I assume you'll be lighting a fire)
Spuds (wrap in tin foil and stick in fire) add baked beans lovely

Im not sure if you can get them here but when in the US they all had 'egg rolls' ' or 'egg cases' cant remember the name but essentially something that went under your sleeping bag in had contours like an egg box very comfortable

Dare you to take a load of MegaPro50 bars to see if you can make the tent explode.
