Making sure you hit youy peak on fight night...

I aint got a fight scheduled until the 16th of September.

This is the most preperation I have had, I want to be as fit as possible for it.
12 weeks out I am going to start training heavily, 100 per cent strict with diet, socialiscing, early nights etc.

I ve never had this length of notice before, how shjould I make suyre I peak for 12 weeks time? usually its just a case of getting as much training done as possible in 3-4 weeks before my fights.

Should I have a back off week every 3 or 4 weeks where I drop the weights, and intensity of my cardio?

AT the moment I have 1 days rest per week. I am going to stick with that and do double training session 3 out of theother 6 days.

Any advice?

I agree with you on having a back off week mate, prob every 4 or 5 weeks. Depends on how you feel really, listen to your body and try to avoid overtraining. I taper off week before fight night down to nothing but light stretching. Recovery time is so important as you probably know already and taking a few days off when you are fighting fit will recharge your batteries and you won't lose any fitness. Good luck with you prep mate, train hard fight easy eh?

If you only do what you've always done then you'll only get what you've always got!
