Promax isn't high in calories; it's just normal protein powder, with a minimum of carbs and fats.

I agree. Whilst Promax is a great product, it's pretty damn expensive. I think you should focus on getting some good quality whey in bulk (eg 4.5kg Whey Conc 80 for approx 30 quid) then you can consistently take it 2-3 times a day without worrying about £ or it running out. Then the money you save you can spend on some good food etc..!!

PRomax is good, mixes well and tastes nice but its a rip off. I tend to go for the mid range protein powders, like reflex.

Another vote for wheyconsortium and myprotein from me

Buying 5kg for £35 makes it a cheap protein source - cheaper than the cheapest of cheap tinned tuna or frozen chicken. Get some nesquik or crusha for flavour if you must, but it makes no sense paying so much for what is essentially the same thing.

Believe me, df908, you must, you REALLY must. Whey without nesquick or crusha makes me puke.

What maximucle hype? their is no hype it offers what it says!? and is independly tested for its claims!? its one of the top rated protein powders on the market and would highly recommend it.
The fact that it mixes so easily (the easiest ove ever used) and tastes very good.
*you never knew i used to work for them lol!*

to be honest they have good points and bad points,

if they sold their stuff cheaper, they would have more customers.
