Mens Clothes Sizes

Whats going on with shops now. I went into Next to get a couple of t-shirts and I picked up large.

I put it on and it was far far to tight. Now i am not huge by any means but larger than average.

I went onto there website and they had sizes from xs to xxxxxL, whats going on there.

I saw the xs in the shop and it would not get past my nipples (length wise) who wears that sh*t.

Why not just have small to large.

Pi55e5 me off, been needing to get some tshirts for last few month and I just end up walking out the shop in a huff lol.

Anyone know any good places to shop.

Mick

Forget Next, they only go up to 47/48, not for men of a certain size.

My username has nothing to do with my religious beliefs.....

i noticed this aswell , i think its due to the fashion to wear tighter fitting t's

i wonder if they sell many of the small size ones as mediums are totally too tight as it is

I avoid Next, their sizes are much too small.  Same with River Island.

My main bugbear at the moment (especially with Debenhams) is how long their tops are that are XXL.  They are like skirts.

Obviously for the man with the larger belly....

I think work shirts are the worst. Why do they assume if you are 18.5 inch collar that u have a 50 inch waist???

Sizes vary everywhere too, ever tried to buy a t-shirt in Zara in Lanzorote!!!

I don't understand sizes! I once went looking for  a shirt and couldn't fit into a XXL so I went to another shop and the M fitted me just nice???

Yeah work shirts are a bollocks! I have to get an 18" and it looks messy as the waist is so big!

Come to think of it, i might check my chicks knicknacks when she comes home because my sex life has went massively down hill years ago

Because most people with 18.5" necks have a hugemungonormous waist measurement.

Damn them for catering to the general public!

You don't have to, Next do a 'slim fit' shirt. They are pretty good unless you are a beast!

Festar: You can't plead poverty with 2 cars. That's like a little Kenyan chap pleading poverty with 2 packets of uncle bens rice hidden under his bed.

IMO all 'high street' shops (topman, burton, river island etc.) all cater for the emo culture, hence why their 'large' t shirts are tight on 6 foot tall 10 stone fellas. I've got a few plain topman t shirts in medium and they're stupidly small around the chest, always go up a size when you buy frmo these places IMO.

Even the "large" t-shirts in Topman are hilariously small for some reason.
I'm speaking as an average guy too, new to training so I'm not big or even very muscular.
Very Bizzare, I think the target market these days is emo kids that weigh about 50 kg and have arms that are smaller than my girlfriends
