Mesomorph diet advice

First off i am a true mesomorph, wether i want to cut or bulk...very easy as long as i put in the effort. But here comes the question. REcently (in Arnold's Encyclopedia) i read that Meso's don't exactly need to big time bulk b/c of some reason or another. So in my case, i am on a 2071kcal day cutting diet, if i just increase the portions or protein in each meal, along w/ one of TT's mass shakes, would that, in your opinion, be enough to put on quality muscle, or would i really need to go all out and do about a 3100kcal bulking cycle. Sorry if there is confusion, i just figured out the body type thing and am trying to understand what he means.

    Right now i am cutting, down to 8.5% BF, but am looking more like a runner and am going to go after some much needed mass

    As of Now.
    Breakfast- 4 whites, 1 cup oatmeal and mult-v
    Snack - 4 oz turkey w/ .25 cup mixed nuts
    Pre-Workout-2 scoops whey in water
    Post Workous- 2 scoops whey in water
    PPWO- 1 cup brown rice, 1 can tuna, 1/2 cup veggies
    Dinner- 8 oz chicken w/ 1 cup veggies
    Night time snack - 1 cup cottage cheese w/ fish oil

    No i am wanting to bulk so am thinking should i just increase my portions of protein throughout the meals. and Post WO i was going to use TT's mass gain shake for some extra cals. How does that sound?

    breakfast and ppwo. Right now its about a 50/35/15 split w/ P/C/Fats. Would the ideal way be to make it approx 40/40/20?

    how many grams of carbs are you having opposed to ratios?
