Metformin. Eating sugar and instantly feeling tired?

Hi guys, I've been using metformin (bought from Chemist) while on gear and a cutting diet.
After a month of dieting 250/180/140/90gr of carbs Every "/" seperates a week. Ive just decided to give myself a treat today Icecream! I ate a boat load to be honest, and instantly after I just felt crazy tired.
Could this be because of the metformin? If its that then I wont worry.

But another thing can be insulin resistance, right?

If your not used to taking it with a lot
Of carbs it can make you feel tired.
Usually stops having that effect once your
    Body gets used to it

Not fullness, but the fat has come down easier this season. Not really changed much diet wise so these must have helped.
About 2400mg daily, divided into 3.

Yeah yesterday was the first sugar binge for a month and it literally knocked me out.
