Microsoft word question

Stupid question. I have a picture and want to link a variety of components in it to a text box. How do i do this? Like a text box with info and an arrow pointing to the component on the picture?

insert the picture then insert and arrow pointing to where you want it to and then insert a text bow and put it at the end of the text box.
