No, SLDL should have read 'rest pause'. It's tough.

CHECK-IN:

Last week's weight: 185.6lbs
This week's weight: 179.8lbs

Last week's waist: 30.5in.
This week's waist: 30in.

This week, at three weeks out, we are running a practice peak week. So far, the hardest thing is water loading. Five times I was up last night. There's also massive changes at work this week, which is the wrong time for it to happen!
Body fat estimated at 7%
Feeling cold a lot too.

I was about to say 6lb is a lot to have lost.... but seeing as you are going thru the joys of shedding water that makes sense. I assume most of that 6lbs was in the last 24-48hrs

That was last week; we think it was water and glycogen due to the huge refeed the week before. So it was probably 6lbs over two weeks.

Certainly this all gives a great insight into what actually goes on when entering a comp bloody hard graft on every level IMO.

Solid effort mate.

Do you generally just warm up on the first exercise then? Looking at ways to trim my time down, but I worry that I might do my back in starting a horizontal pull having only warmed up vertical pulling if that makes sense.

The attention to detail is incredible. I enjoy it. I feel for the first time in my pitiful existence that I actually have an identity.

Generally yes. But if I feel I need a warm-up elsewhere because the movement is significantly different, then I will.

I always find it difficult to know when I look flat. I think I still look fairly full, which is odd. Carbs will be over two days but pics going in each day from now till Sunday. I am ripped tho, I know that.

I guess once properly ripped and doing enough to get a pump on you never look that flat, bet the carbs will still work some magic tho

Yes, I'm looking forward to what changes, if any, the next few days bring. Especially the loss of water, I think that will be the most interesting when we cut it.
