140kg rows! Impressive mate!

This was lighter than pre-comp tho. Strength down a little but form slowed right down now.

Hope you have the energy to show the Mrs a good time.... don't go all Bateman on her tho

I promised myself I would not even talk bodybuilding.

Enjoy your break mate...well deserved for you both no doubt :)

It was to pamper the missus really. Nice cabin retreat with hot tub.

Enjoy the break mate - thoroughly deserved

Cheers. Was nice. 30mins at home and all forgotten. Kids can do that.

It was good mate. Definitely going back - a few times a year! Only 40 minutes from home and one night enough to recharge our batteries.

We are targeting back thickness, chest and arms and trying to better condition if possible and getting waist down from 29.5in.

Thanks mate. Sometimes I wonder whether I should just have a break now tho!

Hit 187.2lbs after last week's check-in but still down 2lbs despite indulging on night away. Weight ideal as only 5lbs outside stage weight for IBFA show. We can hit that without too many issues.

How do you plan to concentrate on back thickness rather than width?

So adding thickness whilst dropping waist size and going for further conditioning Christ I can't wait to see the results

I think a break after this comp would serve you well tbh but trust in Tuffy he certainly has your best interests at heart

If I recall old Arnie's Encyclopaedia he believed rows did thickness and wide pullups did width.

That right?

A lot of people have been getting good results with corsets and waist trainers , I ordered one but they are seriously uncomfy , I have n umbilical hernia so it puts a lot of pressure on it

Sorry, my mistake; the focus is back thickness AND width, plus chest, with chest the main area of focus.

Well, don't get your hopes up too high, we only have a few weeks to make changes, so guess they will be subtle if at all.

The most embarrassing thing I've done [I think] is wearing a baby blue child's sock over my manhood while standing in a room full of naked men getting spray tanned by women. I'm not wearing a corset too!

Changes going from the last comp to the next one will not be dramatic but due to the condition we got him in last time, I feel we can afford a few weeks with added calories to create a little rebound before we have to pull back again.

Weight is already up nicely and where I wanted it to be with condition still nice.

Training has been structured to prioritise weaker areas at the beginning of the session when energy and strength will be at its highest. Also the frequency of upper body training goes up along with volume as we reduce the lower body as this is already a strong area.

I am confident that we can bring an even better package to the next show with the implemented changes.

Sounds like a good plan in action. Will be very interested to see the benefits of the prioritising and volume share

Yup, I was nervous , room full of girls getting tans so actually put a sock inside my willy sock to make me look bigger , unfortunately it made it that heavy it wouldn't stay on and it was hanging down below my knees id been found out , gona take a hot dog and some duct tape next time. pretty bad having your crack and balls spray tanned isn't it

lots of pec deck movements helped with my chest , pressing just hits my delts too much , that's the basis of my chest training now,  I was considering site injections as i believe they help but heard to many PIP stories , had some cverject for the show days but never ended up needing it.
