I was quite happy with 170kg x 3 to be honest. Last dead was 155kg x 6. Was a little ambitious going for 180 but there you go.

Probably not enough rest. I'll get it next time.

Nice graft in that session mate. Are you just doing TRT or are you going to blast at times??

What is you actual weekly split, so far it's not matching up to what you posted at the top of the last page....

Yeah they're OK. Need to work the quads more tho. Might have to proper gym-it on lower day so I can leg press.

Do you think? Barely any quad work to be honest. I'd like to do the occasional blast but I'm not sure just yet. Will see how 150mg each week goes for now, keep level to high end of normal [about 900 to 1000ng/dl] and where bloods are at this stage.

I've settled on an upper/lower. I keep changing things too much and I'm losing where I am. I want to try and fit four training days into the week. That might not always be possible, but I'll try.

That should be simple enough to have a 2 different upper and lower sessions and just cycle them in, then whether you can fit in 4 or 3 is neither here nor there, just do whatever routine is up next whenever you can do it

You don’t ‘need’ a Leg Press. If you want more quad work just squat more.

Front squats
Paused squats
Paused Front Squats
Hack squats
Zerchers
Tempo squats
Pin squats
Goblet Squats
Split squats

Squat 220kg(3) - Bench 200Kg - Deadlift 250kg - Strict Press 130kg - Push Press 140kg

I know. What I need to do is more quad work. Will try front squats. I've never done them before.

Great PB. Even better considering you failed it twice earlier this week!

I don’t see a video and I know you know the rules. PB’s need videos. Remember the sausage punishment? We don’t want to go down that road again now do we?

You'll love front squats.

Solid work. Assuming we believe you seeing as there's no record of the lift. Watch that arm, ease off on the pulling if need be... And back work too

Nice PB mate! And a double!

Loads of variations on the squats mate. However if I was going to look at attempting to isolate the quads without an machines I would look at sissy squats. No I am not having a laugh. They are brutal.

Easy on the elbow too bud.

No video I'm afraid. I guess I need to get in the swing of taking those, as I know it's the done thing on here. The sausage punishment? My god man, how could I forget...

I'd only be lying to myself. It's more the pressing that made it sore, although it's OK today. Will keep an eye on it.

Thanks. Weirdly, the door to my dungeon was open and the missus had just returned home from taking our eldest to swimming club. She said: 'My god are you going to lift that?'
So they both watched, which was a bit odd.
She had her hand over her mouth in horror afterwards.
I said: 'Happy with that, it's a personal best.'
Quick as a flash, she said: 'Yeah but you only did two.'
I swear I don't think I've ever hit her that hard before...

PS: Sissy squats? Yes, you are having laugh.

PPS: The last line of my story was a complete fabrication used for comedic purposes only. I in no way condone domestic violence.

When I came home after pulling a 260 double my Mrs could not have been less interested or impressed. Couldn't even understand why I felt exhausted later on lol
