Milk Protein - Micellar Casein powdery

when i mix the recommended amount with either 1pnt milk or 1 pint water the shake tastes VERY powdery anyone else noticed this ? is there a way around it?

its myprotein.co.uk's stuff btw

    buy some of their oats and add that to it.

    what you mixing it worth, shake, blender? You got an added sweeteners?

    yes, both a blender and shaker have been used, and yes to the last one.

    I find the same thing - its due to the micellar structure of the casein.
    I find adding a smidge of cordial helps enormously

    Hi,

    Yes any casein based protein will need approx 1.5-2x more liquid than whey.

    It will be a bit powdery, but it wont effect the protien itself, just like a really thick whey shake.

    YOu just get used to it after a while

    I find adding flaxoil helps the texture and taste enormously. I'm referring to ON 100% Casein here though.

    I use 3x water to 1 WPC and between 7 and 9 parts water to one of MPC / Miceller caesin.
