200mg is a fair dose. 150mg is also ok. Bear in mind you'll probably be taking 1000mg each day. But more importantly is that the product contains at least 80% silymarin flavonoids.

What exactly is silymarin? A herb basically.

Yeah if your on a heavy oral cycle use mlk thistle. However some companies advertise their products as 500 mg milk thistle when only 100 or less is similarian (which is the most active ingredeient needed for liver support). So add up accordingly to around 1000mg PD

However even though I've used it and many AAS users do, there is no clear cut evidence that it is helpful or aids liver function. If I'm wrong then someone please let me know.

Another good product is Live-52 which has been proven to help with liver function.

I had fatty liver and used milk thistle to get better amongst giving up alcohol and eating right. I had scans 3 months apart and blood tests and got better.

"Milk thistles have been reported to have protective effects on the liver and to improve its function. They are typically used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), and gallbladder disorders. The active compound in Milk thistle credited with this effect is "silymarin," and is typically administered in amount ranging from 200-500mg per day (common Milk Thistle supplements have an 80% standardized extract of silymarin)."

Do you think Liv-52 on its own is enough for liver protection, for an oral cycle or would you add anything else?
