Miss deads this weeks?

last monday I was doing my usual back routine and on my 3rd set of deads I got a bit cocky with the weight and reckon I trapped a nerve in my lower back. It does seem much better now, although im still quite stiff and it does nag a bit. I really don't like missing deads as I see them as one of the more essential exercises but would I be wise to leave them out this week?

Play it by ear - do your warm ups and see how it feels, go light if need be or drop them for a week, it won't make a great deal of difference in the long run.

    Listen to your body though.

If it's been a whole week and you're still feeling it i would be very carefull. Do some mobility exercises and some dynamic movements to loosen up and just see how your warm up set feels. If it feels ok then go for it but mabey just keep it a little lighter this week. If in doubt miss it out!

Missing a week is not an issue.

Espeically if its to avoid flaring up an injury. By far the most sensible thing to do!
