Mixing pure whey

I am using Pro Lab Pure Whey firstly is it any good compared to other pure whey products? and secondly, i take twice a day mixed with milk (usually skimmed), is this right as i've heard that milk can slow down the absorption rate? what should i mix it with?

Thanks

water after training for quicker absoprtion or first thing in the morning
milk at any other time if you widh tio increase calorie intake and slow absoprtion

It doesn't taste as bad as you think mixed with just water. Ok it doesn't taste great but it is still drinkable.
