Monday - Friday, muscles twice a week, opinions?


Looking for some opinions on the following routine I've constructed. I'm wanting to work each muscle group bar legs twice a week, trying not to do the exact same exercises each day. 

Anything I should change/add?

I've grouped the exercises in relevance. Note I'll be trying to add weight on each set where I can.





Monday - Back & Biceps
Pullups - to failure
Deadlift - 4 sets, 6-10 reps
Barbell shrugs - Multiple supersets to failure

Bicep curls - multiple sets to failure
Preacher curls - multiple sets to failure
Crunches (flat or incline reverse) or leg raises - Multiple sets to failure


Tuesday - Chest & Triceps
Bench press - 4 sets, 6-10 reps 
Dumbbell flies - superset to failure

Shoulder press - 3 sets, 6-10 reps
Side lateral raises - Superset to failure

Tricep pulldowns - 4 sets, 10-12 reps
Tricep Extensions - 3 supersets

Crunches (flat or incline reverse) or leg raises - Multiple sets to failure


Wednesday - Legs
Squats - 4 sets, 6-10 reps
Knee extension - Superset to failure

Stiff Legged Deadlift - 4 sets, 6-10 reps
Hamstring curls - Superset to failure 

Calf raises - Multiple sets to failure

Crunches (flat or incline reverse) or leg raises - Multiple sets to failure


Thursday - Back & Biceps
Pullups - to failure
Bent over rows - 3 sets, 6-10 reps
Lateral pull down - Superset to failure

Hammer curls - multiple sets to failure
Behind back cable curls - multiple sets to failure

Crunches (flat or incline reverse) or leg raises - Multiple sets to failure


Friday - Chest & Triceps
Dumbbell bench press - 3 sets, 6-10 reps
Dumbbell flies - superset to failure

Shoulder press - 3 sets, 6-10 reps
Side lateral raises - Superset to failure

Tricep pulldowns - 4 sets, 10-12 reps
Tricep Extensions - 3 supersets

Crunches (flat or incline reverse) or leg raises - Multiple sets to failure

    Dont think it would be too much of a problem, may be too much for some however doesnt look too bad to me.

    Would do ab work on 3 of the day imo also is there any cardio?

    Thanks Nath, I'm not doing any cardio at the moment partially because I can't be arsed partially because I think when building mass it's best to leave out cardio.

    I'll do abs 3 times a week instead, cheers!
