Monkeys Spare Tyre Crusade!

Well, after the failure of my eca stack journal (due to bad nausia (sp)) I have decided to attack the enemy from a different angle!

I way in at 252lbs at 6ft 1. I need to get to 222lbs, so thats 30lbs loss needed in total whilst maintaining current muscle mass!

I train 5, some times 6 days a week which is fine for me (no comments about overtraining please as I dont want to get into that debate!)

I usually cycle to the gym which is 5.5 mile round trip at about 80rpm (dont ask) daily.
0800 1 60g bowl of cornflakes with semi skimmed milk and 1 teaspoon aspartame.

1200 1 129g tin of tuna with 50g low fat salad cream
1 apple

1500 1 129g tin of tuna with 50g low fat salad cream

1700 625g chicken drumsticks (skinless)

1930 Train
Lucozade sport drink

2200 - bedtime story and zzzz time! (oh and 4 hours of vigarous sex , not!)

I am having loads of trouble posting on here so ill try to finish the above now.

However, on sunday I have a full roast chicken dinner with loads of fresh veg from my garden!

food intake cals 2057, protein 238, fat 66, carbs 124
    food intake % protein 56%, carbs 29%, fat 15%
My only concern with this intake is that I dont want my metabolism to slow to a halt!

    Please comment,

    MM

    (From ur first post)
Any chance of consuming some carbs?

Also you're missing protein at crucial times during the day. First thing in the morning your body won't have had protein for at least 8 hrs, in ur case longer as your last meal is at 5pm. You need to chug a whey shake in water as soon as you wake. You could throw in another protein source mid-morning. Also you aren't getting any protein after your workout which is one of the times when your body needs it most, another whey scoop in water and a meal about 1hr later would be perfect.

Complex carbs, breakfast is ok but you'd be better having Weetabix\Shreddies\Oats etc, also perhaps some egg whites, I hard boil 4 every morning. Mid morningas mentioned above, maybe with a banana or something and then a nice lunch with some complex carbs (pasta, rice, potato, etc). You should then taper your carb intake throughout the rest of the day.

The key to loosing bf is ur metabolism, carbs are essential to give it a kick-start.

    Here's a dietary example:

    Hope this helps...

yup agree with Burton you need to be getting alot more protien in your belly or your going to drop muscle mass.

Plus i don't think you are eating enough, i'd work on my diet more if i were you, look at following Burtons it is sound, aim for between 2-2.5k cals a day
