The squat imbalance could also be subconsciously favouring the sciatica/hip pain.

I have to consciously stop my arse moving to the right at the bottom of the squat as I tend to favour the left leg.

If only the women at my club looked like that...

Playing three times a week at the
moment, struggling to fit lifting in as well (with out aggravating injuries too much). Thinking I may have to drop all heavy upper work (due to elbow/shoulder) and just stick to higher rep stuff.

Decided that as I’m at the club twice a week for tennis I may as well do some lifting while I’m there 🤔

Not going to be optimal after a couple of hours running round a tennis court but works from a time management point of view and gives me some extra variety of exercises I don’t get in the man cave.

Until I gauge recovery (especially elbow/shoulder), it’ll be higher rep, hypertrophy style stuff. Slow negatives, pauses etc.

What’s the current thinking on sets/reps etc?

I’ll aim to do a heavier session at home on the weekends.

12-15 reps minimum for an adonis like you, 5 sets or more.
