Push A

Back to the beginning! Static on my main lift tonight. Tried going up 5kg from the start but the second set only saw 5 reps so I backed off for the 3rd set. My second exercise (INC DB) did go up again and I'm only 2kg per DB off hitting my max lift recently but this is as a second exercise.

Great session tonight and feel like I worked hard.

Weigh in time - 12st 11lbs - no change! The first week of a cut where you'd expect to drop a few pounds and nothing!

Waist - 33 inches - 0.5 inches down. At least that has come in a little.

So obviously calories are too high to drop much fat. Next week is messy so as I said I will get through it the best I can then start with a more aggressive diet the week after. I will remove 1 piece of carbs next week on the days when I'm on diet and will remove another the week after. That will definitely put me in a deficit. It's fine, it just reduces my time and leaves me in a mess if I get a work trip.

I had planned a Park Run this morning but I was awake in the night and simply couldn't wake up for it this morning. I rolled over and said I'd run later but then didn't get up til 10.30am so didn't have time!

After missing the Park Run yesterday I really wanted to get out today. Especially seeing the London Marathon on TV! We were out yesterday and I did have a slight hangover, but a long walk and plenty of water cured that. I basically had 30 minutes free so decided to do a speed session again. Just because it fit with where I was. 6 x 1 minute fast, 2 minutes recovery. Hard work but job done.
