Muscle workout and Cardio

Hi all,
 
Not sure if this is the correct place to be posting this so apologies if not.
 
So I've got into the habit of having a 45 - 60 minute workout followed by cardio, usually a run and a swim.
 
My question is, should I be taking a carb and protein shake immediately after my workout or can it wait until I've finished my cardio?
 
My concern is that I've read articles that state I'm supposed to take whey and carbs within 30 due to repair and replenish, so would I not 'repair' correctly if I waited until after the cardio?

    the 30 minute window is a broscience myth, wait until you've finished everything - you're not going to waste your training if you've not had a shake within 30 minutes. you could even just wait and have a meal post workout.

    Would you recommend not mixing weight training with cardio or is it ok to do together?
