Muscles

I read this the other day on the daily mail website about Madonna:

[style="font-size: 1.2em"]"Regarding her body shape, she's probably done quite heavy weights in the past, and after you build up the muscle it's hard to lose it. Your body wants to keep the muscle, as it 'knows' it has been used before.

[style="font-size: 1.2em"]Even if she's using lower weights now, she's still using her muscles enough to warrant her body keeping them. "

Does anyone know if this is true (of anyone, not just Madonna...obviously lol).

It's the Daily Mail, I'd ignore it TBH - they're just doing their tabloid best to propagate the scary, scary myth of "whoops, I accidentally got too muscular" women.

Load of bollox, my grilfriend had a little faze of lifting weights in the gym with me. After a few months she developed quite well, after around six months she had enough and packed it in lol

after a month of not training and back to her student diet, she lost all her gains.

She's just very lean, there was a decent amount of muscle on her for a normal woman already, if you look back at her old vids from the 80's  she was  curvy, now she has  exercised the fat off she's left with the muscle.

Most likely done wight  training but i doubt it actually made her grow any muscle.

When papers say things like lifting heavy weights they mean 5kg dumbells!
