My Cardio plan whilst bulking?
I know there's a cardio session, but this is aimed more around bulking and keeping lean so I think it fits in here.
As I've mentioned before, I'm getting a bit fat on this bulk and it's a long time til I cut next spring so I need to get on top of things.
The diet needs cleaning up for sure, but my will power is no good when it comes to eating. So I need to get plenty of cardio back in the routine so I can still enjoy my food.
I'm a fan of morning SSCV and do a light 40 minute jog at the minute. Now my wife has gone back to work 2 days a week and I have to help get the little one ready so I can only make 3 mornings a week.
Couple that with trips to London with work, bad weather, bad nights sleep or general lazyness..... I sometimes end up only doing 1 or 2 mornings. So I need to fit some cardio in the evenings to make up for it.
It'll be about 8.30pm - 9pm when I get chance to do it, so I'm thinking of doing some HIIT to keep it short. I'll be fully fuelled as I will have eaten about 7pm. It'll do done outdoors so some kind of lamp post sprinting.
So..... my questions -
Does this sound ok?
HIIT so late at night??
And I was thinking of just having a shake after the HIIT?
I have to do something because the mornings aren't consistant enough.
