Must have been something in the air, as a few of us had nightmare jabs the past couple of weeks.

Don't worry, won't be pushing hard on the leg exercises. Can't be doing with another three months doing pretty much upper body only.

Have possibly got a cold coming, after the most stressful day, yesterday and going on the warpath at my employers, this morning. Have had to apply to another bank as, despite being an "in demand" carer; the company keep taking jobs off of me at the last minute. They've lost a big council contract; through their own terrible scheduling and inability to look after their better quality carers. I've done the sums with the missus and nursing is off the cards, especially as she's remembered a credit card debt that needs paying (she's a ****). Got no choice but to do something that gives me the chance to earn more money.

It is all coming at once, pal. Worst thing is; some friends did warn me against working for a care agency and now I'm getting the "told you so's". I'm run down and getting snappy so there are arguments brewing.

Since being made redundant, last September, this will be the second successive job which has gone bad and it's knocked my confidence in my abilities.

Mrs has cooled the jealousy but has ramped up the 'we will sort it together' vibe. Now this would usually be a good thing, and I don't wish to come across as ungrateful. However, when I have a grumble about anything; say forgetting to put my freezer blocks in my lunch bag I will get "I'll help you with it, we will get through it." She is trying to avoid talking about the credit card, aside from me making her cut it up. Once the balance is settled, the account is getting closed

It sounds very similar to my wife's brief dalliance with care work when she was challenging her dismissal from childcare work. TBH it does seem many 'care' style jobs attracts managers with very poor management and people skills (ironic given the nature of the job) so you have to have a very high tollerance (or willingness just to accept) a lot of incompetence on a daily basis, certainly weekly.

It's taken 30yrs but my Mrs has started to realise, given that with her health and so on, she now just has to keep her head down and get her job done. Nothing more, nothing less and don't get involved with the daily BS..... but if you've ever read my comments on what she can be like, that's like expecting a dog not to lick it's balls!

I have indeed read the comments (for some reason I can't write in your journal, just keep getting the processing circle). The dogs balls analogy is brilliant! It certainly sums up my missus, too

Since August, pal. Cognitively, it was about two months before I noticed any tangible change. I've looked back through my journal and it looks like I was stronger from 22 December.

I have been on for nearly 4 weeks and noticed some changes but the mental side has got a bit better but nothing great yet.Don't want to jump the gun and plough more in just yet so just making sure that things take a bit time to sort out.

Gonna be a fair while yet, mate. Don't go banging a higher dose in! I've read a few articles about injecting a higher than TRT dose of test and increased anxiety.

****bag bitch in downstairs flat at it again, last night and this morning. She started at 2200, when I turned my bedroom light off and the click from the switch made her dog bark. She was shouting, cleaning her flat and also calling the lady adjacent to her a slag, pretty much all night.

A pigeon, coo'ing, outside made her dog bark at around 0845, this morning. She then shouts about the people upstairs must hate innocent animals. No consideration that it was a pigeon, making the dog bark or that she'd been an absolute ****, all night.

So, as ever when she kicks off, I sent myself a text with the details on. I had a read back through a few weeks worth of texts and it's absolute comedy gold. One day, when this situation is resolved, I may publish the messages. Not of comedic value because of how I typed the messages; more that her abnormal behaviour is nigh on unbelievable outside of fiction.

It's ****in awful, pal. Like a constant pressure pushing on me. Would be so much easier if the whole block of flats stuck together. But there some older people and a couple of timid residents and I appreciate that they don't want the bastard banging at their door.

You don't need to catch them live you can buy the rats you know.

Sucks about the work but on the plus side doing something that you know well can reduce some of the stress that is on your plate bud.

That's my thinking, re the job hunt. Interview is tomorrow morning.

Rang the Anti-Social Behaviour team again, today and added to my existing complaint. Going to ring the coppers in a bit and add to the file that I've had open with them. I was beating myself up a bit, yesterday for giving the bitch so many chances. If I'd reported it earlier then it would probably be all over by now. Ah well, at least it's further on than it was a few weeks ago.

Probably not much will happen in the short term anyway bud.

I imagine you are getting video/audio evidence of the nuisance behaviour?

Nothing as of the moment. My phone microphone can't pick her screaming up. My mate is gonna try to rig something up that would be a touch more sensitive but it won't be to the quality of the audio that the council could install. But I guess I'm not complaining about noise, it's the **** that she is saying that is the biggest problem and I think a listening device running all day may raise privacy issues?

It is gonna be the long game that's played. I think the most likely outcome is that she will go bonkers at another resident who is brave enough to complain. With her record and my oncoming complaint they must surely do something, despite the lack of evidence.

I don't know much about the law there but in this country you can record any conversation that you are a part of. You are also free to record anything in your private dwelling. It's only illegal to record something that you are not a party to ie. a private conversation. This is why you have those notices when you ring big companies, as you are aware you are being recorded you have consented by continuing the call.

If the noise penetrates your private dwelling then I'd suggest it's not private conversation and using the same logic you could record her in the bloody hallway lol.
