250mg every six days. The purists will say that I should split it into two jabs per week; however I am getting on fine at this dose and adhering to this injection schedule so I am keeping it as it is. I am around 25 jabs deep now and have got very proficient at loading the syringe up, jabbing in the correct part of my glute and I also embedded a very hygienic approach to jab time. My first jab, I loaded the syringe up and lost half the oil, then picked it up and put it down 12 times before injecting too high and wide on the right glute.

Thats quite a high dose for TRT, thats more like a mild cycle. Not a critique though mate, whatever works for you!
Do you continue to monitor bloods?

Once a week jabs should be fine for TRT, depending on the ester of course.

I will probably get 3 or 4 blood tests a year done. I also give blood a few times a year and may ask my docs for a test once a year. I probably don't get the full 250mg due to having to sacrifice a few drops when preparing the jabs. It's going well so far, if I get any problems that I can't handle myself I will consult the gp.

Does TRT shorten life span then? I would have thought it have the opposite effect? (well stave off contributing factors at least.)

For a lot of men, the increased blood pressure and strain on the heart may contribute towards an early demise. I have some wiggle room due to an inherited low blood pressure. However, I'd rather feel like I am feeling now for a day than live as I was for a month. I've wasted so much money on councillor and so much time on GP appointments when this (What my gut instinct has always been trying to tell me) option has been there all along.

Have you researched subQ for your TRT

As I cruise (using trt doses) for several months I started going that route this year

I have had a brief look into it, opinion seems to be split on its effectiveness. I have a book by Jay Campbell which is excellent but which I haven't referred to for a few months. I'm sure he says something about subQ jabs. Do you have any links to hand on the subject???? Would be something to consider to give my arse cheeks a rest for a couple of weeks!

I don't off hand (on my phone too which doesn't help) but IIRC there was a good thread with links on here around the start of the year.

I've been doing 100mg every 7 to 10 days subQ and noticed nothing negative during a 4 month cruise from an anecdotal stand point

Thats good to know DV.

I've already been thinking of doing SubQ injections when I'm on my cruise. Not really keen on the idea of IM jabs all year round for what could be potentially for life.

So the last few days haven't gone to plan.  Had a few personal issues to deal with which have put me on a downer. To top it off, the missus has had an attack of insecurity (this time it was my fault for not being nice enough in a single text message) so the last few days have been delightful.  I've reassured her over and over but I put stop to that cycle of talking every little detail through, this morning and now she's got the arse.  Thank **** we don't live together full time!  She's a really good person and has very few negative points to her, however, when she feels insecure; it's an absolute ball ache.

Anyway, I've been to the gym once since my last entry, predominately due to having a cold. My diet has been ****, if I'm honest so, I'm doing a fast, today to try and restore some order with the ranks of my gut bacteria.  I'll eat some sauerkraut tomorrow morning and try and do the whole week clean, from there.  Perhaps the only positive things, health wise, is that I've been stretching twice a day and I seem to be injury free (rare these days).

Your Mrs sound like my Mrs lol.

Do you find eating sauerkraut beneficial then? I've read about the benefits of it but never tried it myself.

Mate, they (women) are all crazy. When my missus goes on an insecure one, it's vile.  Starts off with being quiet and then denies being quiet when I ask whats wrong. Then comes the hour long process of trying to find out whats wrong and then comes, at least, a day of me having to reassure her about everything.  Am having a few days off from her as I know that lets her chill out a bit.

I don't know any exact science behind the sauerkraut, other than it contains loads of good bacteria that survive the passage to the gut.  I find consuming it after a fasting period increases it's effectiveness for me (poo firms up, digestion improves, less wind).  ****in horrid stuff though.

Squats

80k x 10, 90k x 10, 95k x 5

Dumbbell bench press 2 sets of 7 with 37.5k bells

Back extensions 1 set of 12 with bodyweight, 2 sets of 8 holding a 12k kettlebell

Seated calf raise 1 set of 20 with 25k, 2 sets of 8 with 50k

Ab work and stretching.

Felt strong, the 90k for 10 was a welcome surprise. Didn't do any rowing or pull down movements as getting a bit fed up of them at the minute. Might leave them out for rest of week and get the 'want' to do them again.

Standing barbell press
50k for 10, 60k for 5
Leg Press
250kg for two sets of 10
Lying dumbbell hamstring curls
15k for two sets of 8
Straight arm pulldowns
7 bricks for 2 sets of 15
Ab work and stretching

First two exercises on the up. Went to a different gym, tonight and the benches are quite high so was hard getting into position for the hamstring curls. Yes, I did a pull down exercise after saying I would avoid; however, it's not a standard pull down and I wanted to do something to stretch the lats.

Diet today has been:

730 5 egg omlette, a small bowl of Special K with semi skimmed milk
1215 A healthy mince, onion, mushroom and tomato mixture I cook myself. Salad.
1530 Protein shake and a satsuma
1745 Homemade spaghetti Bolognese, quite a moderate portion
2045 Protein shake with two weetabix and a banana
2200 I'll have half a tub of quark and a couple of fish oil capsules

Screw the science behind sauerkraut. If you can figure out the science behind women you will be the richest man in history.

I wouldn't even attempt to figure them out, pal. Just a case of trying to manage their silly moments as best you can.

Went to gym early, today

Barbell Squats 2 sets of 20 with 60k
Bodyweight Dips 2 sets of 10
Dumbbell pullover 2 sets of 10 with 15k
Standing calf press, 2 sets of 8 with 45k

Stretching

Those squats royally ****ed me up. Each rep was slow, controlled and I got excellent tension on the thighs. However, it highlighted my lack of conditioning and ****ed the rest of the workout.

Yeh, 20 rep squats can do that, especially 2 sets lol.

It's a mental test during the set but if u ain't fit (me) then the physical impact hits a few minutes later. I do like to change exercises and rep ranges regularly, to avoid boredom so prob won't go to 20 reps again.

I think 20 rep squats will cripple most people even the fittest if they are programmed properly, its meant to be your 10-12 rep max but pushed to 20 in whatever time it takes. So 2 sets is definitely overkill lol.

Like you said though, its good to add them in occasionally just to mix things up and avoid boredom. I haven't done them for a while actually but always enjoyed the occasional 20 repper.
