I've often questioned if I'm some mega inflexible zombie. Surely with all the stretching I do, I should be pretty bendy.
On another note, training.
Barbell Squats 100k for 8. Worked up 60k for 5, 80k for 4, 90k for 4 then the working set. Tried a second set with 100k but only got 3 reps, focus had gone.
Dips +5k for 10, + 10k for 2 sets of 6
Dumbbell Rows 37.5k for 10, 40k for 8
EZ bar cable curls 35k for 2 sets of 8
An work and stretching.
The 100k for 8 was really good. Brilliant tension on thighs. There was defo at least 3 more reps in there, but I am reluctant to grind out reps. As I've mentioned before, I descend slowly, prob 3 or 4 seconds. I try and pause, very briefly at the bottom of each rep as transitioning from descent to ascent quickly takes the stress from my thighs and puts it onto my back.
Rode my bike into town this morning, 2miles each way. Got blasted by a Deliveroo rider. In my defence he was on a racer, was younger than me and was very skinny. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
