My Protein Feedback

Guys just thought I would mention for anyone who is thinking of buying of these jokers double check the offer or promotion before doing so. I was debating whether to buy some of their milk chocolate promilk and they clearly stated on their facebook page that bbe would be at least 1st august this year... got delivered with a bbe of beginning of july!

I rang their customer service and spoke with a girl called Fran who couldnt give a cack and then a team leader called neil who again could not give a toss that they mislead not only me but other members regarding the bbe.

I then went back on their facebook page to vent my fury (without any language used I should add) and have been banned from their site because they do not like negative feedback! they emailed me stating I was spamming their site!

What a joke this company has become

You should have grounds to have some returned. How many did you buy Snowball?

They offered a refund but I would have to wait in all day 9-5pm for someone to pick them up...

My real gripe is that on ringing them they were not bothered and just stated how cheap the deal was rather than apologising for misleading myself and other people. I also wanted a apology from the person who runs their facebook page but they kept on fobbing me of which I think is bang out of order... they then decided to ban me for spamming! or should I say telling them and the other fb community how it is.

I searched their website for BEst before dates but couldn't see any so I took it that there must be a good time sclale before they were due to expire. I've ordered 13 packs in total and won't be able to get through these. It should have clearly stated when the best before date is for each flavour. I've found delivery times with myprotein slow and now this. I'm going to take my business elsewhere from now on.

60% off would've been a red flag to me. I would've phoned first, but then snowball got the wrong info on facebook...I'd see if you could return some if I were you MonkeyMagic.

I had an inkling and as there was a best before date on the water protein product but nothing said about the promilk anywhere on the website I took it that it would be ok.

I'd be happy to buy a few packs from those who have ordered too many.

What's the worst that could happen?

Have to agree that it is misleading and dishonest to state incorrect best-before dates.

I purchased 7 packs of choc Promilk, so it is a bit of an issue.

I also remember a year or so back when they did something similar with their short-dated flapjacks!

Apart from these issues, I have to say that I am generally quite happy with MP.

As you say, not the first time such an issue has been mentioned with regard to MP.  Makes you wonder how they could allow such a mistake to happen again, assuming of course that it is a mistake...?

6 months a year. Sell by dates are so OTT anyway. I always eat stuff out of date and its fine

Festar: You can't plead poverty with 2 cars. That's like a little Kenyan chap pleading poverty with 2 packets of uncle bens rice hidden under his bed.

Ok cheers guys I will bear that in mind date wise... What about the storage query? It says on them refridgerate once opened, otherwise store in a cool dry place... But surely with it being milk it would need to stay in the fridge whether it was open or not?

If it's the uht (heat treated milk) it won't have to be refridgerated unless opened.
I always keep a few cartons of uht in the back of my work truck incase we ever run out of proper milk and the stuff lasts for ages
