My Routine Progress (and a question)

Hi people,

I posted my routine on here a while ago (after some help fine tuning it from MT Members).

Its been about 7 weeks into it now and the results have been really good , i have gradually raised my lifts by a good amount , i didn't start off too heavy but made good progress in deadlifting gone from 40kg to 81kg- and rising, bench has gone from 50kg to 68kg and rising, preacher curls gone from 20kg up to 32.5kg, the chin ups are a killer lol , up to doing 3x3 at the moment, going to try and up it this week.

One thing i noticed is that my grip is not 100% on my deadlifts, i have done 1 hand under and 1 hand over grip but still slipping by my last set, has any once has this problem ?? do i just need to stick with it and the forearms and grip will improve over time or do i need to work them out in-between my normal routine, my forearms are not particularly very big so maybe they need sorting ??

    I think your grip will improve over time, but if you want to add in direct forearms its cool, I do two sets of 15 on back day at the end when they are pumped from back.

    I have small hands grip is always difficult so use straps when I have to. 

    Some guys will say no your forearms will get it all from gripping on pulling exercises, but whats wrong with hitting a muscle direct?

    You can also do cable biceps curls with a rope, holding it in the middle and trying not to let it slip - don't hold it against the stops at the end thats cheating. 

    Forearms are like the calves of your arms, would you not hit them direct and say they get enough squating or do you do calves? think about it 8-)
