My cutting program... Plz comment.

ECA- 1 pill at 7:45am, 1 pill at 3:45pm

Cardio throughout the week:
2x HITT sessions in the morning before breakfast (20mins)
2x Rugby games/practices at 3:30pm
2-3x Gym class (random sport) 12:30pm
4x Weight sessions

Day 1- Biceps/Triceps
3x5 Standing barbell curls
3x8 Standing alternating hammer curls
3x5 Skull crushers
3x8 Rope pulldowns

Day 2- Legs/Abs
3x8 Back squats (this is a light day because I can't have severe DOMS in my legs)
3x12 Weighted situps
3x12 Oblique side bends

Day 3- Chest/Shoulders
3x5 Dips
3x8 Dumbbell press
3x5 Standing military press
3x8 Side lateral raise

Day 4- Back
3x5 Deadlifts
3x8 Close grip chins

I'm very busy lately with everything... Which is why I havn't been on here lately. I have been doing weights since I was gone, but with no real routine. I wanna cut up for summer and I'm hoping I can acomplish that with this routine. Normally I would choose 5x5, but when I'm in the gym I can only stay there for maybe 30-45mins and I just can't do a 5x5 session in that time period... Besides I am cutting so I think I'll try something a little different. The weights routine is a little bit scattered and it's not how I usually do things but I wouldn't mind trying this out... The cardio is my main worry though. I weight about 175lbs... I would like to get down to maybe 165lbs or so before June. Think this can accomplish that if I keep my diet in line? Thanks in advance.

    Genon:

At 5'11", 170 pounds, and 12% bodyfat, why do you want to cut?

You could add 30 pounds to your frame naturally before you would need to consider cutting. No offense, but at 5'11" and 170 pounds, you don't have enough body mass to cut, unless you want to become emaciated.

Basically because I'm not exactly happy with my body and I would like to bring out the 6 pack for summer. I'm more like 176 14% bf right now i think... Either way though, I wanna try this.

    Would it be effective?

Genon, you say you have failed your goals - its not June yet mate!

Im in the same situation as you I'm not happy with the way I look not particularly bothered about the six-pack personally.

Your not really "cutting" just trying to drop a few lbs. No need for the ECA until your weight loss begins to slow - it will be more effective that way and economical cost wise.

Routine is interesting - why have you decided to go for a seperate biceps and triceps day?

Not keen on back day - wide grip chins would be better or barbell rows than close-grip chins IMO.

Whats the diet going to look like?

Easily I can... Right now my max bench that I've ever done is about 265lbs though which runs slightly short of that 315lbs goal I set for myself. I didn't expect to hit countless plateau's... But regardless, shoot for the moon and you'll land among the stars heh. But ya I guess I'm just gonna drop a few pounds... The reason for the ECA is because my fat is very stubborn, and because I have a bottler here that's full and that I have barely used.

The reason I have chosen to have an arms day is so I can focus completely on isolating those muscles, which is something I have never done. I've always hit my arms through compound lifts but for the next few months I intend to try something slightly different.

    Any otehr opinions?

Back day: The close grip chins will be removed and bent over rows will be added.

Not a bad routine at all IMO - It will be very interesting to see how you do training with an additional biceps and triceps day.

    Progress Journal again Genon???

Guess I could do that =]

Might as well... I dunno how great my diet is health wise but I know the calories are low enough. I'll post it up.
