My diet and workout routine! take a look and offer any advice please
first of all, thanks for popping in to take a look at my proposed plan.
About a year and half ago i started to train properly to mainly lose weight. It went well as i did lose a good chunk of it. I went from about 18 stone down to about 13 and half stone. I did alot of cardio, mixed between hiit and sscv and now and then i'd chuck in a weights session to change it up. Anyway, as of late, my training has been up and down and my diet has been the same. I enjoyed and was proud of what i acheived with my first weight loss program and dont want to fall back into bad habits so i'm going to get back that focus and train and diet the right way. The harder you work, the better the results so lets have it!!! I recently quit the gym and invested in some dumbells as i think train better with no interuptions and am going to hit the road with my jogging....ipod loaded up with the tunes ha!
Right, here's my proposed diet. I'll be having protein with every meal and carbs at breakfast and pre and post workout.
7:30 - 60g porridge and 160g egg whites
9:30 - chicken breast and some fruit
12:00 - tuna and veg or salad
2:30 - tuna salad and 2 oatcakes
4:30 - train
6:00 - wholewheat pasta, chicken and veggies
9:00 - 150g cottage cheese
I will vary my diet but the plan will stay the same.
mon - weights (shoulders and legs)
tue - 50min sscv run
wed - weights (back and biceps)
thur - 50min sscv run
fri - weights(chest and triceps)
sat - cricket match
sun - rest
I'm male, 6ft tall, 88kgs, estimated 25% - 30% bf
My goal is to lose the bodyfat and get a nice lean look. I'm hoping that my planned diet and routine is the way forward?
