My diet with a few questions, Any advice needed!!

Hi there, I have quite a strict diet now but I'm not trying to cut or bulk as im pretty new to it all so I and just trying to eat healthy and keep the size I have already gained and add some more hopefully.., my diet consists of-

Wake - Protien shake with 200ml skimmed milk , and Weetabix with 200mil skimmed milk and sultanas. (Also 5g creatine)

10:00 Snack - Small pot of grilled chicken breast and wholemeal pasta salad with salsa, and apple

12:00 lunch - Home made breaded chicken sandwich on Granary bread with lettuce and salsa, and grapes.

3:00 Snack - Small pot of grilled chicken breast and wholemeal pasta salad with salsa with banana

5:00 (just back from work) ?!?!?!?! 2 boiled eggs with 2 slices of granary bread (would like to know if this is too much saturated fat... Btw this is Pre workout any ideas for a different snack..if thinking this isnt suitable..?

6:30-7:30 Work out

7:30 - Protien Shake with water

8:00 Dinner 2 fish fillets/ 1 chicken breast/ 200g mince, with rice and veg

Before bed some kind of fruit..

Throughout the day plenty of water as well didnt think this necessery to add in..

Just like a general thought on this diet wether or not it seems adequate for a beginner weight lifter not looking to "bulk" or "cut" but to appreciate beginners gains etc.

Glad to hear any tips or advice I'd really like to learn and get set into good ways!

Thanks, Dev.

Looks fine Dev, I'd monitor your weight and review as needed.
Your pre-training snack seems a little high in fat which will slow digestion, but if doesn't give you any stomach upset I would not worry. Saturated fat is only an issue if you have existing cholesterol/blood lipid issues, a family history of them and/or carrying a good amount of excess body fat with a high waist circumference (>90cm).

I do have a bit of excess body fat, i am a 38 wasit, but don't have any family issues with it etc.. would you have any suggestions that could be a better substitute for the pre work out meal? Thanks , Dev.

Edit: Have another question (might seem silly) I've had a look at my pack of leanminced beef and it says per 125g, theres around 6.5g of saturated fat.. after I've cooked the micne and i drain all the fat will this not apply? If so thats fine but if its still in there i think I'd strike that off the list!?

you can get ultra lean mince if its a concern

in terms of Pre workout could you get down a shake along the lines of

Slow/fast time release protein powder (e.gPeptide Fusion which gives you a good amoutn of bcaas and l glutmaien)
simple carbs such as Banana or apple, with water or milk as preferred, adding some efas from e.g. flax, olive oil etc

That links look very interesting and the advice sounds great, thank you, say a banana a shake with skimmed milk and a piece of granary toast? Sorry about all the questions just want to make sure I am doing the right thing! Thanks, Dev.

no probs dev, you could sub the bread for oats (if you prefer) and pop these in a shake/smoothie with the time release protein blend, plus simple carbs like banana or apple juice. would be a good idea to add 1 of your creatine servings here if you go that route and to think about creatine gluconate during the workout if you choose creatine, in order to really power you through the workout and maximise your energy.
