My journal! Critique the hell outta it!

Okay, I"m planning to juice as soon as I am confident in what I am doing. One of the ways I will feel confident if a bunch of beefcakes like you all are satisfied with my program :) SO please guys let me know what you all think. BTW I have a weird sleep schedule, although I get at least 8 hours a day. I'm in between programs right now. I've been doing 3 x 6 for the past 3 months and I've been at a plateau the past couple of weeks. I'm starting to change it to 3 x 10 and it's making the workouts a hell of a lot more intense, so I feel like it may break me out of htis plateu fairly soon.

Today diet:

Meal one
1 slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter on top
3 eggs - only one yolk though

Meal two
chicken breast with salad

Meal three
roasted chicken sandwhich from subways with baked chips

Snack
Shake - milk, protein powder (around 40 grams of protein), a little peanut butter and some fat free 90 calorie yogurt

Meal four
1 chicken breast with pasta and tomato sauce and steamed veggies

Workout - Chest/tri day
All are 3 x 10

Dumb bell chest press
Decline chest press
standing fly on cable

cable pushdown
tricep extension
skullcrushers

    Hi Bro....

1st of all, Good Luck and research the AAS side fully before you venture that route.

I don't think you are eating enough, not for gaining some mass anyway, what weight are you now?? You should eat no longer than every 3 hours IMHO. Eat for the size you want to be (short term) not for what you are.

I would Q your routine a bit too. Get your skulls in their 1st on tris, they're the mass builder so hit them while you're strong. I would then go with another proven mass builder and only use extensions/cables as something to finish of with if the jobs not done. DB flyes for the chest, nice and heavy, rather than cables if poss too.

I weigh 195-200lbs. I'm not sure of my body fat, but I'd guess around 15 maybe 16. I'm trying to lose some weight without losing much muscle. I'm just going for a look right now. Do you still think I am not eating enough?

I've already had this discussed on the test/roid forum. I'm not going to be doing them that soon at all. And all I plan on doing is 400 mg deca/250 mg sust. A very very light and safe cycle.

y dont u try real heavy on 5x5 for mass???

    eat more, like DV said....

by the way, when do u workout, i dont think ur eating properly, u have to have some casein before bed, and i dont see that......i also think u should try a different routing, being ur in a plateau and all on top of it.....

Okay, well I did change up my routine and it's making the workouts a hella lot more intense. i've had to drop the weight since I am doing 3 x 10 instead of 3 x 6 now , I'm gunna try this out for the next few weeks. However, last week after all my workouts I was soooo sore, almost as sore as I'd get when I first started working out. HOpefully I am getting out of this platue.

Any comments on the pics btw?

imo doing deadlifts+squats for 8 reps ata time is either counter productive or will cause injury.
knock that rep range down a bit, or go v.light. [if go light then gains are comprimised]

Maybe you could try 3x5/5x5 on the main exercises, (bench, squat deads) and keep the 3x8 for the assistance exercises?

I've done training regimes that have included squats and deadlifts x8 reps and I haven't been injured or found it counter productive. Just be careful to perfect your technique.
